IRS Collection continues to be the hottest growth area in tax, with more than 14 million taxpayer accounts in the Collection Division inventory. Nearly 1 out of every 15 taxpayers owes money to the IRS. This program will cover how the IRS Collection process works, where the opportunities are to help your client, and what the options are to resolve the back tax debt. Attorney Eric Green will also review IRS enforcement (liens and levies), and the various collection alternatives: offers-in-compromise, installment agreements, uncollectable status and bankruptcy.
